Remembering John Wigg

Saturday April 20th from 10.00am to 1pm

John Wigg, who sadly died in February this year, was a great organiser of the churchyard tidy ups. We would like to recognise, with grateful thanks, all he did to support these twice yearly work parties to maintain the natural heritage of our churchyard at St Mary’s. We shall be remembering him this April and will raise a toast to his memory at our coffee break. Please join us!

Everyone is welcome – you don’t need to attend church to join in, or be a gardener! Please put the date in your diary.

There are lots of jobs to do, from strimming round headstones, weeding & edging the gravel path, cutting back and clearing overgrown shrubs, to carting stuff to the bonfire. Some gardening equipment is available but please bring useful tools such as secateurs, shears, strimmers, loppers, rakes, kneelers and wheelbarrows if you have them.

Do join us – the more the merrier – coffee and cake provided

Any queries, please call Barlie Adams on 02392 631262
